• As a student assistant at Culinary Services, I worked in both kitchen and cafe settings. I worked with chefs doing prep work in the kitchens, and at the cafe I worked as a cashier, coffee maker, stocker, and customer service provider.
• At Culinary services, I:
• Greeted customers entering store and responded promptly to customer needs.
• Welcomed customers and helped determine their needs.
• Operated cash register for cash, check, and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels.

Verity is a sexual assault crisis center that offers support to survivors. At Verity, I volunteered on the crisis line as a crisis line counselor and survivor advocate. I underwent trauma-informed training, and my time at Verity was a very fulfilling and special experience for me.

• Managed high-stress situations effectively, remaining calm under pressure while providing compassionate assistance to callers in need.
• Provided referrals to appropriate community resources as needed, connecting callers with additional support options.
• Maintained accurate documentation of calls to support effective follow-up and continuous improvement of services.

• Handled sensitive topics such as substance abuse, domestic violence, or mental health crises with professionalism and empathy.
