• I returned to G4 Express as a dispatcher. I was in-charge of the SouthBound loads. I would cover every driver that was up North to return to our home terminal in Laredo. I would also coordinate any trailers going into Mexico (Impo and Expo). Always keeping our customers informed on current location of their freight and delivery. I have the knowledge of booking loads with Brokers and always looking for a better paying freight.

• I began the most recent chapter of my career in the dispatch department for R&A Carriers in Laredo, Texas. My duties in the dispatch department are to book loads for every driver in our company. I call brokers and book loads for drivers going North and South bound from Laredo. I monitor that the driver is ok in route to delivery and advise the customer of the driver’s location. I make appointments for the driver’s loads so they can have a smooth delivery without delays. Always informing the customer of where and when the driver will arrive. I have great communication skills and would motivate drivers to take different routes then they are accustoming to take.

• In G4 Express, Inc. I started as a dispatcher I would book loads with brokers. Have a successful delivery and return for our drivers. Once the owner saw that I was able to handle my position successfully and finish my work on time every day they asked if I could give a hand on the accounting department. I agreed and learned an extended amount of material. I would calculate all the driving miles for the drivers and calculate their payroll checks. I was also in charge of deducting insurance and personal loans off their checks. Once the driver arrived I would collect original documentation (Bill of Ladings) so that I could start the invoicing process. I will create the invoice and send to your customers to collect payment. I was also in charge of keeping all our invoices paid before due date.

• I began learning what the business of transportation was. How loads get from one place to another. It was a great experience knowing how each product is moved. I learned how to sell loads and have another business move the load to its destination. There were also drivers we had to arrange their loads and book with customers. I oversee all loads and monitor them daily.
