Responsibilities included performing the following tasks at least 3 times a day every day during the time period that care for the dog was needed:

• Taking dog outside to go to the bathroom
• Exercising dog with various rigorous activities such as walks and playing catch
• Feeding dog following her specific food and water schedule left by owners
• Providing emotional support to ease dog's nerves in being separated from her owners, usually consisted of pets, cuddles, and the supply of fresh bedding in her room
• Cleaning up accidents, such as pee, poop, or vomit, inside house
• Communicating with owners via phone and text about dog's condition
• Ensuring dog's general safety by scanning areas she was let into and removing hazardous items and securing gates.
• Monitoring dog for signs of disease, illness, or injury and reporting back to her owner
• Ensuring owner's house was left clean and doors were locked at the end of every shift

Temporary babysitting of 6-year-old girl and 3-year-old boy for parents' nights out.

Responsibilities included:

• Schedule enforcement (as directed by parents): Ensuring that children ate their dinner before watching TV, there was a good balance between electronic and play activities, creating a set bed time, putting a limit on how much dessert they could have, etc.
• Harnessing creative skills by thinking of non-electronic activities to engage the children, such as games, arts and crafts, etc.
• Communicating via phone and text with parents
• Ensuring general safety of children by preventing them from accessing hazards, such as climbing on tabletops, running near sharp edges, etc.
• Fostering a relationship with the children by conversing about age-appropriate topics such as hobbies, friends, and school
• Light cleaning, including clearing the children's dishes and play area once finished
