My goal was to learn more about my host family's culture and to improve my english skills. During my time as an aupair, i completed one course in english at Long Island University.

• I juggled changing schedules, and managed time efficiently and responsibly
• Assisted with housework such as laundry and cooking
• Enforced rules and managed behavior through developmentally appropriate discipline
• Engaged with children on individual basis to build positive relationships
• Helped kids be creative with arts and crafts

I worked with fundraising at a hospital:

• Talking to people in person and on the phone, asking for donations to raise money for the institution
• Greeting people that brought donations and directed them through the facility
• Organizing venues and participated in auctions.
