My dad owns a roofing company and I started helped him when I was 6 with basic tasks. As I have gotten older I've been able to learn more and be of more assistance. Everything I've learned has been through watching the process of how things are done, and through trial and error. This has helped me have better problem solving skills. I have also worked with my uncle who has an electrical company. Since this is a technical job, it has helped me to learn to work as a team, to be a quick learner, and has pushed me to trust myself and my abilities not only physically but mentally as well.
