Isabella Dominguez

I'm a hardworking and reliable person with a strong interest in helping others and being part of a team. I have experience organizing and helping with community service events, and I’m good at staying organized, solving problems, and communicating with people. I enjoy working with others and always try to bring a positive attitude. I’m quick to learn new things, and I’m not afraid to take on challenges. Whether it’s helping a team meet a goal or staying on top of a busy schedule, I do my best to get the job done right. I’m looking for a chance to grow, learn new skills, and make a real difference wherever I work.

I’ve been playing tennis for over 10 years, and I was a varsity player on my high school team all four years. As a freshman, our team placed first in district, setting a strong foundation for the seasons to come. By senior year, we placed second in district and made it to the third round of playoffs becoming the last school in our district to advance that far. Throughout my time on the team, I was known not only for my dedication on the court but also for my leadership off of it. Many of my teammates saw me as a team captain because of how supportive I was always bringing energy, keeping spirits high, and making sure everyone had what they needed before matches, whether it was food, water, or encouragement. Being that kind of teammate was just as important to me as playing the game itself. On the court, I developed a style of play that stood out. Many coaches from other teams would tell their players to watch me sometimes even pointing me out to their upperclassmen when I was just a freshman starting varsity. My backhand quickly became my signature shot, and it was always the strongest part of my game. Hearing that kind of recognition motivated me to push harder, refine my skills, and take pride in the way I played. That pride gave me the confidence to keep looking out for my team and inspired me to always give my very best not just for myself, but for the people who played beside me.
