- I learned about the disability network, and the statewide and federal impact on individuals with disabilities. I have participated in over 15 training seminars to further my knowledge. This work has given me a perspective rooted in compassion, and a desire to make change.
- I have been working on Healthy Active Lifestyles, a project that promotes social, physical, and emotional wellbeing amongst individuals.
- I have instructed movement classes for two years and trained four individuals to also work on this project on this project.
- I complete preparations for Special Education trainings, learning the importance of organization and diligence.
- Presentation opportunities at the undergraduate research symposium at the University of Idaho, and to the university president about the CDHD's projects. My team and I provided a 45-minute breakout session on the importance of physical activity at a transition conference called My Tools in March 2025 in March 2025.
- I have had travel opportunities to Disability Awareness Day in Boise and the Disability Policy Seminar in Washington D.C where we visited our state representatives.
