Currently pursuing my PhD in Computational Science with an emphasis in Physics at the University of Southern Mississippi. I started my research back in my bachelor's in cavity ring down spectroscopy. I then proceeded to use this technique in my masters and PhD to determine how the air around radiation sources change over time, in particularly the rate at which aerosols form. The goal of the research project of the lab is to build a database of how the air around the radiation source changes in order to build a better radiation detector that works from a longer distance than we do now.
