Isabella Sofia Morell

Graduate of Ithaca College with a B.S. in Television and Digital Media Production. Experienced customer service representative in both the retail industry and restaurant industry. Skilled in resolving customer inquiries, providing product knowledge, and offering exceptional service. Knowledgeable in audio recording and editing software such as Pro Tools and Adobe Audition. Experience with television studio production with background behind and in front of the camera. Experience with media writing and content creation.

During my freshman year at Ithaca College, I was a member of the HiFashion Studios wardrobe team. HiFashion Studios is a student run organization consisting of multiple teams that conduct photoshoots and hold a fashion show each semester.  Prior to being selected for the wardrobe team, I was asked to style and send in five outfits from my personal wardrobe. Upon being selected, I was asked to choose 10 outfits in total, for 5 models, and styled them according to the given theme. I had to be present for one photoshoot day, as well as the semester fashion show. During both the photoshoot and fashion show, I was responsible for making sure the models were being styled correctly according to the theme, and getting their outfits on in a timely manner. 

During my junior year at Ithaca College, I sent in an audition tape to sing for a student music video. Upon being selected, I recorded the song throughout multiple sessions, and was also asked to be featured in the filming of the music video. For the music video, I was asked to provide wardrobe changes as well as film in multiple locations.

During my first year post grad, I took private voice lessons at the Academy of Performing and Creative Arts in New Hartford, New York. I previously took private voice lessons with this school for over 10 years. In December of 2023, I began lessons again, once a week. There, I worked one on one with a professionally trained instructor to develop techniques in order to strengthen my voice. After three months of rigorous rehearsal, I performed a group number at a local theatre in May of 2024, followed by several other performances at a local community center.

Currently, I am working on developing a unisex apparel brand with a friend and business partner, based in Utica, New York. The brand is called Baddnewsbearzclothing, and our mission is to create an apparel company that allows room for comfort, while also embracing one's inner mischief. We have created a Shopify where customers can shop our products, which include and will include: crew necks, hooded sweatshirts, sweatpants, phone cases, key chains, stickers, etcetera. I have also created an Instagram account and a TikTok account to promote our brand. My business partner's focus is on the physical creation of the products, whereas my role is to utilize my skills to manage the website analytics and social media platforms. 

Currently, I am in the process of building a voice over portfolio. I am working one on one with an engineer at GPS Estudios Inc. in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico and am now a part of their voice over talent bank. Voice over work is a passion of mine, as I am continuing to build my experience and knowledge within the field.
