Collaboration

  • I am apart of the Collaborative Mentoring class at my school which focuses on breaking down the walls that separate students with and without disability's. We are taught about the wide range of disability a student can have and how to effectively works around struggles and behavioral issues. Our main goal is to provide and inclusive and fun environment through various activity in the classroom.
  • I also am the President of the Collaborative Mentoring Club at my School which strives for the same agenda and goals as the class but manly focuses on providing inclusivity not only in the classroom during class time but also outside of class during lunch or afterschool extra extracurriculars like sports games.
  • Member of the schools Youth Court Program which is alternative, restorative justice program. The goal is to interact with students from our school that have committed a school offense and work with them to find an alternative rehabilitation method that will help them grow as individuals, rather then the traditional school punishments.
