Titration of vasoactive drips, ventilator management, PA catheter, arterial and central line management

Devices: IABP , Impella 5.5, NxStage CRRT

• I worked in the main PACU of the Moses Cone campus where we received and cared for almost all subspecialties of surgeries. A typical day involves many orthopedic, neurological, general surgery, vascular, trauma, and pediatric cases.

• Wesley Long Hospital has a 19-bed Medical-Surgical ICU. This unit offers management of ventilators, vasoactive drips and other critical care drips, and continuous renal replacement therapy. The unit also responds as rapid response for the rest of the hospital.

• I began working for Cone Health after building relationships with staff members as a teen volunteer. I worked at Wesley Long ICU, shuffled around to Moses Cone PACU, but ultimately decided to pursue my new graduate nursing journey with my home unit, Wesley Long ICU.
