Quantitative Research

• Conducted participant visits to collect behavioral and cognitive data on four-year old children and their mothers in a longitudinal study focusing on socioeconomic status and infant development.
• Worked on a participant- hotline for participant assistance in receiving a study-issued cash gift and led volunteer training efforts.
• Checked data quality of Parent Child Interactions (PCI) videos.
• Created the data quality checking procedure and trained volunteers for the corresponding PCI audio captured on Language Environment Analysis (LENA) devices.

Qualitative Research

• Scheduled participant interviews.
• Led data collection for a qualitative substudy that included travelling to participant homes, conducting interviews, and writing field notes.
• Transcribed and translated audio interviews from Spanish to English.
• Managed study operations: helped create site protocol, wrote scheduling scripts, oversaw the site budget, trained new research assistants, and managed the scheduling process for all sixty participants.
