Isabelle Crone

In 2015, my mother established a childcare business from our home following the unexpected closure of her previous workplace. At the age of eight, my contributions were limited, but I gradually became more involved. Over time, I assisted with various tasks, including diaper changes, mealtimes, group activities, quiet/nap time, and general engagement with children ranging from infancy to ten years old.

After school and tennis practice, as well as weekends, I managed the concession stands for children's t-ball games for roughly two months. My responsibilities included preparing various foods, handling the cash register, engaging in conversations, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

In July 2024, I traveled to Minnesota with a friend to visit her family for the month. During that time, we volunteered to work at their newly opened restaurant, The Minnesoda Fountain. We returned in October 2024 and continued to support their business. While working there, I performed a variety of tasks including scooping/serving ice cream, bussing tables, operating the cash register, assisting with dishwashing, thoroughly cleaning the facility, and providing excellent customer service.

In addition to attending church, I volunteered in the nursery assisting with the care of babies and children. During this time, we facilitated snacks, play, and age-appropriate lessons centered around the Bible.
