I am Martin County born and raised. Before becoming a mom I was a pharmacy technician and studio photographer. I left those off of my resume because it's been so long it feels like another lifetime. I am a Puerto Rican and fluent in Spanish. Being bilingual to me is a gift that I am glad my parents gave me. I have always wanted to work in the medical field in some capacity. I always thought I might become an EMT. The last few years of my fathers life he was increasingly more ill and required lots of doctor visits, and as the one who took him to all of his appointments with each specialist I became all too familiar with various medicines, conditions, and the different specialties there are. It was because of my dad I always wanted to do something medically inclined. I have 2 teenage sons, my eldest is off to the college of his dreams this fall and my youngest son will be a sophomore in high school. For the first time in years I find myself with more time on my hands and nothing to fill it. I believe now is the time for me to really get back into the workforce, for myself, that is not at our family owned auto repair shop. While my resume lacks any real experience I promise to be a hard worker, fast learner and excellent addition to your team.
Managed day to day office operations.
Answered phones and assisted customers directly
Input info and work orders into the computers
Occasionally I would drive customers to and from home or work.
Occasionally would go to various car dealerships or auto parts stores to pick up parts.
In the less glamorous role of homemaker I managed our home and everything pertaining to our 2 children. This has been my main role for the last 17 years. As a homemaker I:
managed our budget
scheduled all appointments and procedures
arranged carpools and/or childcare if I couldn't handle it on my own
managed all day to day operations of the home from cooking & cleaning, to shopping and schedule management
I have been a team mom for my 2 sons football teams for many years which involves lots of organization, time management, fundraising & delegation.
Additionally I volunteer at their school regularly, and am the Choir mom at South Fork High School. As such I have helped with field trips, fundraisers, concerts, and securing donations for the children.
