Isaiah Kabban

Passionate public policy advocate with a strong focus on civil rights, youth engagement, and legislative reform. As National Director of Ongoing Legislation at the American Youth Association, I have led key policy initiatives, coordinated congressional outreach, and organized national events promoting youth peace and security. A national spokesperson finalist with NRECA, I’ve delivered impactful speeches and published on rural electrification and mental health. Entrepreneur and founder of Kabban Lawn Care, I bring a blend of strategic leadership and community-driven solutions. I am eager to leverage my experience to drive meaningful policy change through the Joint Public Policy Program at Georgetown.

• Founder of Powerlifting Program – Established the first powerlifting program at your school, leading training sessions and competing at the state level.
• Founder of Mock Trial Team and Harbor Beach HS Delegation for Michigan Youth in Government – Created and led the school’s first mock trial team, while also founding the delegation for Michigan Youth in Government, providing students with opportunities to engage in legal simulations and state-level policy-making.
• Founder of Student Voice Initiative – Launched a platform to advocate for policy changes and improve school culture, empowering underrepresented student voices in decision-making processes.
• Founder of Active Minds Club – Established a mental health advocacy group to raise awareness, organize stress-relief events, and promote mental well-being among students.
