Information Security Specialist:

Worked closely alongside security personnel to monitor activity within the property's parking areas, maintaining a secure environment for both guest's vehicles and personal belongings. Assisted in supplying qualified individuals with parking decals in specific areas to conduct business throughout the building. Recommend improvements in security systems and procedures. Conducted internal audits to identify areas of improvement within the organization''s information security program. Provided support with the destruction of classified materials such as burn bags, CD's, hard drives, tapes etc.

Personnel Security Specialist:

Assisted in determining the suitability and security eligibility of individuals for entry and retention in sensitive and non sensitive positions. Ensuring that employees and contractors in a facility obtain a proper security clearance. Assisting employees in completing required security paperwork, processing security actions, reinvestigation, updates and initial submissions.

Building Operator Trainee:

User of Velocity access control system, which is a security software that is capable of unlocking/locking compartments, valid/invalid card swiping on keypads and detecting alarms triggered throughout the building. Responsible for the protection of the facility by viewing security cameras to confirm the safety of staff members. Assisted in the development of emergency preparedness plans to safeguard occupants during unforeseen events such as power outages or natural disasters. Ensured optimal performance of electrical systems by conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary repairs or upgrades.

Metal Fabricator:

Improved overall vessel condition through meticulous corrosion control measures and painting applications. Supported mission readiness with fabrication or modification of essential components using metalworking tools such as grinders, saws, and lathes. Reduced repair costs by maintaining an organized and well-stocked inventory of tools, equipment, and materials needed for hull maintenance tasks.

Increased operational efficiency by performing welding, brazing, and cutting tasks on various materials for ship repair.

PipeFitter:

Contributed to overall company success by maintaining a strong work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to delivering exceptional service on all projects undertaken. Performed basic and semi-skilled work under supervision and instruction from lead plumber. Tested for leaks in new and repaired systems to verify functional and safe working condition. Removed old sinks, toilets and pipes in preparation for installation of new fixtures. Unclogged sinks and toilets for customers using tools and drain cleaners. Conducted regular maintenance checks on plumbing systems, preventing potential failures. Supported lead plumbers in complex repairs, learning advanced techniques in process. Inspected sewers and piping systems to assess quality and condition. Assisted with repairs to steam, drainage, and sewer lines.

Damage Controlman:

This was my initial career path before joining the United States Navy. While in this field I protected individuals and property from criminal activity such as vandalism, sabotage, trespass, theft, and security breaches in the entire Downtown area of San Diego, California. All under the supervision of Law Enforcement. Within a 2 year span my dedication and work ethic earned me a spot in the company's program to receive training and become an armed guard at a separate location. Completing my shooting range test and Firearm Safety Certificate Test at the age of 22.
