During my volunteer hours at Kaiser, I had the opportunity to contribute to the community by assisting in the administration of vaccine shots for homeless individuals. This experience was incredibly rewarding as it allowed me to directly engage with a vulnerable population and support their health and well-being. My responsibilities included helping organize the vaccination area, managing the flow of people to ensure social distancing, and providing assistance to the medical staff as they administered the vaccines. I also spent time comforting and reassuring those who were nervous about receiving their shots, making sure they felt supported throughout the process.
