I graduated from Kingsborough and transferred to York College to pursue nursing. When I transferred, I still had two requirements left to complete, so I joined the Bachelor’s program in Health Sciences while finishing them. I am now 95% done with my degree. I have always enjoyed helping people and feel it is rewarding to support others when they need it most. My goal is to become a nurse so I can make a positive difference in people’s lives. I also hope to gain experience in a hospital setting to see what I will be doing in the future and to prepare for my nursing career.
I was able to create a strong bonds with the kids during the time that I was babysitting for my family and friends. I was able to teach them how to take care of their basic hygiene and stay clean such as brushing their teeth, keeping their space clean, constantly washing their hands, and etc. I've noticed that They're usually not the best when it comes to behavior, however I was able to teach them to behave more appropriately. I consider this one of the best achievement for babysitting because being able to push the kids I babysit into a more positive direction and bring the best out of them really means a lot to me. One of the best part about this is being able to play games with them because of how much I enjoy their laughter and smile. It let's me know that I am doing a good job as a babysitter.
