I had a paint and body class back in high school. I went to district and state competition two years in a row. Advance welding was another class that I had in high school. I graduated from Presidio High School in May 2011 and started my career as a Diesel Technician in August 2011 in Odessa College. I was a student and a worker at the same time. Falcon International was my first job which helped me learned how to run water jet machines. My second job was Atlas Oil as a crude oil transloader but I had to leave it since it did not met my career skills and I was about to finish my career in May 2013.I graduated and started working for John Deere Yellow House Machinery Company as a shop mechanic. The second job I had as a diesel mechanic was with Jones Bros Paving, I worked at their shop repairing the heavy duty construction equipment they used to build roads. I had to leave Jones Bros, because I wanted to better myself and give me a better opportunity somewhere else. Halliburton Energy was my third job in a shop as a diesel technician repairing the oil field equipment. Halliburton was a good experience because I got to know the oil field equipment and how to work in it, but I had to leave it because I receive a better opportunity at Diamond Pump & Transport. I worked as a shop mechanic for Diamond Pump Transport for one year then I move to field mechanic for three years, then I became the shop foreman for five years which gave me a total of nine years with this company. Diamond Pump and Transport gave me the experience to work on trucking equipment for the oil field, pump truck, hot oiler truck, vacuum trucks and transport trucks and more importantly how to manage the shop. While working at Diamond Pump and Transport I went back to Odessa College and finish my degree as a Diesel Technician. Through all this years of experience I was also able to buy and equip a service truck to help better my job opportunities, July of 2023 I move to work on my own and I did it for eight months. Allied Eagle Transport is where I been working since March of 2024 and It’s been a good experience since I been learning to work on new equipment like hydrobacks, winch and pneumatic trucks.
