Prior to my enrollment at the University of Indianapolis as a student of Archeology, I spent four years active duty in the Army, working as a Non-Commissioned officer in charge ( NCIOC) for a unit of ~130 soldiers. I maintained complex signal communications systems, kept a regular inventory of secret materials, and would instruct my peers on the function of their equipment as a subject matter expert. Since transitioning into my career as a student, I've had the exceptional opportunity of working under Dr. Christopher Moore and Dr. Elizabeth Straub from the University of Indianapolis. For the last three years, I've engaged extensively with historical background research, artifact analysis ( both in the lab and in the field), site surveying, and excavation ( Phase Ia and Ib thus far). I would like to further my experience in the realm of artifact analysis and cataloguing.
