IVAN ROBLES

Currently assigned to Tactical Team Beat 1164A. Conduct numerous Department mandated missions, to included Curfew Missions, POD Missions, Gang Conflict Zone Missions, Violence Reduction Missions, Prostitution missions, Quality of Life Missions, Narcotic Sales Missions and School Violence Missions. Duties include the identification and apprehension of offenders involved in Narcotic Sales and uuw crimes through the use of surveillance to gain further intelligence within the 011th District. Conduct post shooting missions to further gather intelligence into gang related shootings and retaliation. Locate and arrests individuals with active criminal warrants and investigative alerts. Conduct follow-up investigations into robberies and burglaries within the 011th District.

Assigned to the first Watch, a uniformed assignment. Duties included providing and maintaining sector integrity. Utilized and applied effective patrol techniques, including street stops and traffic stops. Attended beat meetings and discussed crime concerns of citizens residing within the beat and implemented problem solving techniques to address those crimes.

Assigned as a Probationary Police Officer, working all three watches, after successful graduation from the Chicago Police Academy. Duties included working closely with a Field Training Officer to learn effective patrol techniques and the proper police response to a variety of situations, while achieving excellent performance ratings. Developed solid patrol skills, report writing abilities, and court room testimony skills. Learned and mastered the proper recovery, maintaining, and handling of evidence in accordance with department directives. Developed and maintained excellent working relationships with supervisors and colleagues.
