One-on-one mentoring was provided to selected JROTC students

• Crucial Convo series is a series of Zoom presentations centered on Air Force diversity efforts and sponsored by an African American general officer
• The audience is approximately 900 military and government civilian personnel
• Features senior leader speakers from across the Department of Defense and other associated governmental agencies
• During the "Published Author" series, shared stage with a retired African American four-star general and spoke on pilot diversity in the Air Force
• The presentation was based on content from three published books on pilot and senior leader diversity and consulting work with the Air Force

• Was invited by the Deputy Commander of the Canadian NORAD Region to be the guest speaker at the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Command Council
• This council included all the Canadian NORAD Region’s US Air Force and Canadian Wing commanders and Command Chiefs
• The audience was 200+ American and Canadian military and civilian personnel
• The presentation's focus was on operationalizing inclusiveness and diversity in Canada’s highest levels of military leadership.
• The presentation was based on my published books on diversity and consulting work with the Air Force.

• Was contacted by the Air Force Academy's Director of Strategic Communications to be a virtual motivational speaker
• He wanted short “video messages” from notable grads/celebrities to run during the Class of 2021's graduation ceremony
• The pandemic limited attendance but he felt my presentation "might add some special spice to the ceremony"
• I was asked to congratulate the class on its graduation – despite the pandemic and on my path as an actor
• I was also asked to speak on my national tour with “The Color Purple” and how I navigated the tour as the pandemic started
  

• Featured speaker for the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals (OBAP)
• Featured in Courageous Conversations Series: Minorities and The Military - A Town Hall on Racism and Discrimination in the Armed Forces
• Presentation centered on material from two of my books on diversity in the Air Force

• Made a presentation to an audience of career military and aviation professionals on pilot diversity in the Air Force.
• This presentation was based on my published work and consulting experience with the Air Force.

• As President of the Air Force Cadet Officer Mentor Action Program was responsible for mentoring minority JROTC and ROTC cadets
• Made presentations at elementary and middle schools as well as colleges

• Presented paper on organizational “Vision” and Total Quality
• Presented at the nation’s foremost quality seminar, the American Society for Quality Control’s 49th annual Quality Congress
• Audience questions were fielded after the presentation.

• Earned special recognition from the city of St. Louis for creating a volunteer speaking team composed of African American, male and female role models
• Led these officers and enlisted personnel on numerous public speaking events in inner-city St. Louis public schools
• Presentations that encouraged youth to stay in school, set goals, and strive to achieve were made during career days and school assemblies
