3d printing for me was really about how cool it was to be able to download a file and within a rather short period of time see it grow in the print bed of my 3d printer, but the process to move between fresh download and print were much more involved and rewarding in many cases. The processes getting the file through the average 3 preparation programs was sometimes frustrating, as all things on the computer can be, but it did still give me even more opportunities to expand my knowledge of computers and different file/program interactions, which to me is very satisfying. 

I enjoy growing fruits and vegetables from seed and transplanting them into the garden, which may sound simple is a fun logistical challenge. First you want to fill the space completely without reducing your yields or outright killing the plants, and second you want to make sure that as soon as your plants stop producing you have a new transplant to take their place. Juggling that, the nutrients in the soil, and water make for some fun challenges across the eleven different species in my garden today.
