I'm currently 15 years old and a sophomore in high school. The Church I attend is Burnt Hickory Baptist and I also go to youth group at Westridge. I do a lot of baby sitting and care taking of little kids over the weekends but a majority of it is in the summer. I have two younger sisters and 9 cousins and im the oldest out of all of them so while growing up i would watch and help babysit. Right now I volunteer, since you have to be over 18 to lead, second service sunday school. The sunday school class that I volunteer for is the 3's class. Being a sunday school. helper is what I love doing because I get to share about God with little kids but in the future when I am older what my hopes and dreams are to be a small group leader for middle and high schoolers.
I spent a week in the summer working vacation bible school summer camp. The grade level I taught was rising third graders. The week I spent was such a fun experience and a great opportunity that the church and the Lord provided for me. When I volunteered one of the little girls I got close with over the week came to know Jesus and gave her life to him! I think that was the best part of my whole 'work' experience.
