I am a very detail-oriented person with experience in teaching, problem solving, and roles that require both empathy and collaboration. I am quick to pick up new skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment where I can commit myself to achieving a goal. I consider creativity, compassion, and strong interpersonal relationships to be crucial to group success and approach each opportunity and person with an open mind.
I support middle school students in learning to play the violin and help them achieve their personal goals with the instrument through lessons catered to their individual learning habits.
I worked with BAMF Health through Kent ISD on problem solving for their company by becoming fluent in the design thinking process and collaborating with other interns. I developed a transportation system for their company to move the radioactive drugs that they use for cancer research over long distances through their building. I then pitched this idea to their company at the end of my internship.
I volunteer at the YWCA Women's Shelter and help to run activities for the children and families. I also help with cleaning/organization and donation management for the shelter.
I was a part-time nanny to three children and cared for them during the day. I planned outings and activities, prepared meals, and worked with them on problem-solving and conflict resolution with each other in a safe environment.
