I have worked with a variety of people throughout my work career and adapted to many unexpected situations. I have interned with working with the homeless population. I have worked with the behavioral and intellectual disabled population. I have worked with people whom are deaf, need assistance with basic daily living activities. All have which have taught me it takes time, patience, and quick to be on one's feet for any given situation. Currently, I am a Direct Support Professional that works with behavioral health. They live in an enhanced group home setting, that prepares clients to live out on their own after learning the necessary life skills to live on their own.
