Coordinate construction for contract 244.048 on the George Washington Bridge with the GWB facility and the REO office.
Act as chief inspector for the rehabilitation of the main cable, and the replacement of suspender cables in the absence of the current chief inspector responsibilities include delegating the responsibilities of crews to nine inspectors, coordinating lane closures with tour managers and the REO office, submitting work trackers necessary for monthly reports, and assigning work performed outside of contract hours.
Perform special inspections necessary within the contract specifications, and ensuring compliance with contract documents, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
Coordinate work between different contracts to ensure that the work performed does not disrupt traffic flow throughout the bridge.
Escort personnel throughout the bridge to take measurements, tests, and perform tasks that will allow the bridge to be maintained to the best quality.
