During my time at APMEX I also handled all email correspondence and feedback for our eBay website. I would respond to all email/message inquiries in a timely manner. I would address all negative feedback left in an attempt to resolve all issues
I assisted in developing and launching the eBay portion of our business as well
I would also assist customers with email inquiries and chat inquiries
I started as a Customer Service Representative and worked my way up to the Team Lead position. I also filled in as interim Department Manager during times when there was not a manager on staff for the department
When I started at APMEX they did not have a formal training process for the Customer Service Department. During the course of my career, I wrote a complete training manual for the department and I developed and taught a two-week training class for all new employees in my department. I would also teach a two-day class for all new employees in the Sales Department so they could develop an understanding of customer service skills and how to answer inquiries if they were encountered
During my time at APMEX I was named employee of the month in my department multiple times
