My eagerness to learn is one of the most principled parts of my character: whether it is learning in the classroom, engaging in club related experiences through APEX or Phi Sigma Pi Honors fraternity, or exploring Italy for the first-time last summer with my mentor/professor and fellow students, I am most enthused by taking on new experiences and challenges. Surrounding myself with individuals who are similarly passionate about learning and exploring always pushes me to go beyond my comfort zone.
Work in several positions, specifically as a greeter, docent, and researchers; assist in behind the scenes work at the museum.
Through the honors fraternity, I have connected with many individuals upholding fellowship, leadership, and scholarship expanding my network and participating in meaningful service.
Participated and now lead APEX, the Appalachian Experience, designed around the pillars of community, reflection, and service while promoting inclusion and openmindedness.
- Collaborated with other videographers to film and take photos of JAMES during live music shows, to be later used for promotional work and album covers.
- Responsible for the creation of promotional films used for Spirit Weeks, marketing campaigns, and recruitment.
Organized a food drive for 13 years benefitting the Food Bank of DE and Sunday Breakfast Mission, and recruited and led several volunteers throughout the process.
Cleared tables to continue high turnover rate, and maintained customer statisfation and dining room cleanliness.
Managed and performed landscaping and lawn mowing services for over 20 houses.
