I am 14 years old and will be finishing Grade 8 at Beaver Valley Community School in June.
Two of my passions are golf and construction/building so I think working on the GBC grounds crew would be an amazing job.
I love being outdoors, enjoy working on outdoor projects and am very hardworking and responsible.
In the Fall of 2022, I helped do all the landscaping work at our new house in Clarksburg which included putting in the irrigation system, laying patio stones and sod, and planting.
I also completed my Bronze Medallion and Standard First Aid with CPR in September of 2023.
Helped build a shed and small barn.
Drove an excavator to help put in a foundation and to take down trees.
Learned how to use electric saws and other construction tools.
Assisted with 4 weeks of horse/farm camps.
Helped kids ride horses, organized and played games with the campers.
Helped with general farm work including driving a tractor and other machinery to assist with mucking paddocks, moving dirt, dragging the riding rings etc.
Helped run junior golf camp program over a two week period.
Assisted the golf pros in teaching the kids various golf techniques through games and drills.
Helped set up the camps in the morning, organized the games and equipment.
