Create and import journal entry template into Sage Intacct accounting software
Set-up and process all incoming and outgoing vendor ACH transactions
Manage annual review, mailing and form 1099 submission
Maintain W9 database for accounts payable vendors and prepare and issue as needed
Prepare annual personal property tax filings and process payments for 18 entities
Responsible for new entity business license and health permit set-up as well as annual renewals
Renew Secretary of State registrations for all legal entities
Review invoices and sign checks for vendor payments
Spearheaded accounting software implementation while collaborating directly with Director of Finance and software vendor during transition from QuickBooks to Sage Intacct accounting software
Responsibilities included setting up entities, chart of accounts, gl mapping, vendor set-up, reconciling and transitioning open AP/AR and outstanding checks, completed super-user training and assisted in training other team members
Proficient in Sage Intacct report building, (created company specific period end reports, cumulative reports for VP of Operations, comparison reports for corporate stores, financial reports to mirror audited financials for bank loan)
Attended additional report writing classes at annual Sage conferences as well as webinars provided
Provide audit support for CFO by reviewing PBC list and furnishing documents such as reconciled payroll detail, bank statements, inventory detail and other information as requested
