I started my career with Rinker in 2019 where I worked as a laborer making various precast products. In only a few months time, I was able to transition into a quality control role. After about a year, I applied for a management training position that moved me to Denver, Colorado where I was able to shadow experienced managers. In Denver, I was given the responsibility to lead the safety program where I was able to improve the safety culture through quality safety meetings, JTA development, and building relationships with the team. After 1 year in Denver, I took my permanent assignment to manage our Wilson Pipe Plant, managing a team of 25-30 employees . Since arriving in Wilson, we have been able to improve employee retention through quality training, find multiple safety innovations in the facility, and improve production while keeping the workplace safe. I would love the opportunity to help the safety department grow with my knowledge of a wide variety of equipment, processes, and diverse workplaces
