Driven by a lifelong passion for hands-on work and building, I embarked on a path to become an engineer. Through a two-year paid apprenticeship, I gained invaluable real-world experience at an engineering firm specializing in advanced refrigeration design. This opportunity expanded my technical skills, boosted my confidence, and sharpened my social acumen. And with a two summer job at the Madison Mallards I was able to not only gain new skills such as fry cooking and leadership, but also able to continue to refine my skills in communication and teamwork. Now, as I pursue mechanical engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, I'm ready for success, armed with a strong engineering foundation, a hunger for learning, and an unwavering commitment to innovation and collaboration in my future endeavors.

Main duties include frying all the food at our stand during all home scheduled games, along with stocking freezers, prepping food and cleaning dishes. As well as being the supervisor for the stand every once in a while. This Job enhanced my communications skills as well as leadership skills.

Employed by Federal Industries during junior and senior years of high school as a paid engineering apprentice for this engineering company specializing in designing and building refrigeration units for food supplies and displays. As an apprentice, I had the opportunity to experience manufacturing and industrial engineering work life, and what those careers entail for the day-to-day operations and responsibilities. I acquired new skills, learning different software programs, and working with more in-depth 3D modeling and design (specifically SolidEdge). I also gained experience in the shop, working with tools, and getting more hands-on knowledge and expertise.
