Engineered prototypes and systems to demonstrate and advance clean hydrogen technology.
Technical Prototyping: Collaborated on developing an educational device which displayed the electrical components of a working electrolyzer mounted on a single panel. Liaised with high school robotics team to construct and sell 10 units to Cheney University for $5,000.
Hands-On Fabrication: Built and calibrated electrolyzer test stands and portable waterboxes, gaining proficiency in basic electrical wiring and assembly.
Process Innovation: Designed a calibration reminder system for lab equipment, which use NFC tags and Google Apps Script, automatically emailed calibration reminders to test engineers, improving maintenance and efficiency.
3D Modeling & Electronics: 3D-printed life-sized electrolyzer components for education demonstration; prototyped an interactive display system for these parts using an Arduino and Raspberry Pi connected to a monitor.
Mentorship & Instruction: Co-instructed a 6-week summer program, mentoring high school students in electrolysis fundamentals and guiding their catalyst research projects.
