Jaclyn Iafrate

I'm attending Macomb Community College in the fall to pursue culinary arts. Ever since I was a kid I've always loved making different types of foods, and I'm taking my passion for food and turning it into a career. The previous jobs I've had all required customer service and being in the food industry it requires being able to serve and talk to customers. I've learned many skills throughout working in the past, such as quickly solving problems, working on various computer software's, answering phones, and dealing with cashing customers out. I've always been very motivated to work, I've had a job since I was 14. I'm very hard-working, self-motivated, organized, and patient. I plan to use these skills and traits of mine to help me in future careers.

In high school I took a construction class where I was able to expand my knowledge and do hands on activities, such as help build a house. During the class we were able to get the opportunity to get OSHA certified in construction trades.
