As an associate banker/ teller I perform the majority of transactions in the branch. I make deposits and withdrawals, perform wire transfers, issue cashier's checks, and assist with basic account maintenance.

I have multiple times identified cases of fraud, and once even stopped an elderly woman from being scammed out of nearly $30,000.

I was hired on as an Assistant Manager in the Bakery and was immediately enrolled in Hy-vee University as a Department Manager Trainee. I learned much about the baking process. I also focused on inventory levels, cost to purchase analysis and overall profits. I worked with bakery staff and delegated day to day tasks, as well as trained new employees.

At Lucky's Market I found a passion for cooking. As the Bakery Supervisor I was responsible for ordering all products and supplies for the department. I had to be aware of profits, as well as direct employees within the bakery.

At Dairy Queen I learned how to get the best out of people, and how to creatively solve problems. As a shift leader I regularly was the most senior employee in the building. I was responsible for opening, closing, and the work of all other employees on a given shift.

As a car salesman at Billion Kia, I used much of what I learned from my sales experience at Best Buy. Here, I feel I refined my customer relations. I learned the difference between a hard sale and a soft one.

As a sales associate at Best Buy I was tasked with advising customers using up to date product knowledge, and gathered knowledge of the customers' wants and needs. Worked to meet sales goals and regularly exceeded them.
