  • Duties include but are not limited to ensuring hours are correctly recorded and pay discrepancies are addressed, providing training, ensuring employee issues are addressed as soon as they are identified, and addressing them at the lowest level of management involvement possible.
  • I am responsible for ensuring that the proper current technical manuals execute aircraft maintenance and adequate auditing of all NAVAIR and FRCSWINST policies and procedures, in addition to Federal, State, and Local laws, are followed.
  • Before work documents are released to the production areas, I meticulously review them to ensure accuracy and clarity and that quality inspection points are appropriately placed. After maintenance tasks are completed, I conduct a thorough review to confirm that all quality inspection points have been observed and that the work has been performed in strict accordance with tech data and customer contract specifications.
  • One of my key responsibilities is to read and interpret manufacturers' maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications. This involves a high level of technical expertise to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
  • As part of our commitment to safety, I am responsible for making immediate corrections to any personnel who are out of compliance with the safety program, particularly regarding the use of personal protection equipment (PPE).
  • Replace and/or repair worn or damaged components, such as generators, alternators, magnets, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, and engine mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment; removing the engine from aircraft, using hoist or crane, disassemble and inspects parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects on T/M/S CH53E Super Stallions, UH-1Y Venoms, AH-1Z Vipers, MH-60R Seahawks and MV-22B Ospreys.
  • Conduct and execute evaluations/audits on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) daily to ensure compliance with appropriate policies and procedures are in compliance, and the equipment is signed off before use and in safe working condition.
