Operations Officer for a geographically separated joint service Department of Defense Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) consisting of medical, testing and processing sections with 24 military and civilian personnel. Provides direct leadership and oversight for initial processing of more than 10,000-Armed Forces applicants annually. Assists the Commander in managing an operational budget of
$65,000. Conducts enlistment ceremonies and command briefings. Monitors monthly travel expenses and reconciliations to ensure accounts are not delinquent. Directs the development of contingency plans; implements internal controls; and provides oversight of inspections.

Selected to attend the maneuver Captains Career course, a premier U.S. Army leadership program focused on advanced tactical planning, operational design, and company-level command. Trained in mission command, decisive action operations and multi domain leadership across joint and coalition environments.

Infantry One station Unit Training (OSUT) Platoon Leader responsible for leading, training, morale, welfare and readiness of 4 drill sergeants and 40 trainees. Duties and Responsibilities include the maintenance and accountability of all Platoon facilities and equipment; coordination, synchronization and execution of the Platoons training events; enforcement of standards and discipline throughout the training cycle; and accountability for training and professional development of Cadre. Request training resources, conduct mission briefs and assess training. Plan and supervise tactical operations,warrior tasks and battle drills. Prepare risk assessments and conduct AARs with trainees, Drill Sergeants and the Commander. Responsible for awards, evaluation reports and disciplinary items. ensure Drill Sergeants are certified, physically fit, mentally tough, confident and competent to execute their prescribed missions.

Rifle Platoon Leader for a 41-man Platoon in the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 11th Airborne Division consisting of three rifle squads and four vehicle crews. Responsible for the Platoon's training, discipline, morale, and welfare. Develops, implements, and supervises the individual, and collective task training that supports the Company Mission Essential Task List (METL), and prepares fire teams, and squads to win on the battlefield. Develops, executes, and leads platoon level missions during full spectrum operations in an arctic environment. Trains subordinate leaders to be tactically proficient in all areas, and continually develop them to assume increased levels of responsibility. Responsible for the combat readiness, maintenance, and accountability for all platoon equipment valued in excess of $20,000,000.
