  • Additionally, I managed my own section of the sports section of the newspaper
  • Every week, I interviewed two student athletes from a variety of community high schools in the paper’s jurisdiction
  • I then wrote an article for each student based on the conclusive results of my investigative journalist research
  • Over the span of my internship, I was proudly able to publish fifty articles
  • I had my name in the paper for my own athletic reasons before, but it was definitely more of an accomplishment to have my name under the writer’s list each and every week
