Summary

Please review my attached resume for the QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST position in the Quality Assurance office. I have thoroughly completed the application for your review. I am eager to obtain a more advanced full-time position to showcase my inspection skills and gain more responsibilities by working at a vendor's plant. Throughout the past four and a half years here at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, I have learned critical thinking and leadership skills through the Machined Parts Inspector position. I have also learned to be precise when determining in a timely manner if material is in compliance with blueprint regulations, procedures and specifications. If material is deficient, I have become very confident in my ability to solve various material problems by writing a Receipt inspection deficiency log or communicating with other inspectors and engineers to figure out solutions. I have strengthened my inspection skills by reviewing others' work and approving it through PEDREP to accomplish acceptable job orders. All of these attributes have prepared me to succeed in the QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST position.
