Hey there! My name is Jacob McPadden and thank you for taking the time to review my application for the Brand Ambassador position for OTIS.

For having a passion and some experience for the Cannabis industry and also my wide variety of experience in customer service, I believe i would be a great fit for this job. I'm very enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing and a very hard worker and would also like to gain even MORE knowledge about the Cannabis industry.

I'm moving to Hood River from South Lake Tahoe and would love if you would consider me for this Position.

Bartender

  • Duties include, opening the bar in the mornings for the morning shift.
  • Getting everything prepared in terms of the fruits for the day, cocktail mixes, making sure the whole bar is stocked for the day and then you’re ready to go.
  • For the night shift duties are to make sure you’re stocked for the night then closing we clean the whole bar and inside area making sure it’s spotless, tipping out bussers and food runners for the night and can’t forget the main thing making drinks for everyone! We also are in charge of locking the whole restaurant up for the night once leaving as we’re always the last people to leave.
  • Giving great customer service is always a priority for me and will always strive to be better.

  • My duties as a budtender were advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
  • Keeping a head of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends through private company demos and trainings in store.
  • Processing customers' payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale system (Treez).
  • Entering Certificate of Analys (COA) into our database for every metric item coming in was also a part of my role in the dispensary.
  • Joining the Embarc team during COVID-19 cleanliness was a big thing making sure the store was cleaned hourly and written down in case of inspection and also making sure every customer has a face mask coming into the store.
  • One of my favorite parts about working in a dispensary was educating customers on the safe use of their selected cannabis products and just general knowledge about cannabis if we had any questions asked to us.
  • Also, always making sure my guests I worked with would always leave satisfied.

  • Duties included starting my shift opening a bank for my assigned bank/front desk stall I was at for the shift.
  • Then the day started from checking in people, being a high-quality customer service agent or even a guide for guests around the hotel, my goal was to try and make every guest walk away with a smile regardless the reason.
  • The VIP Coordinator side was a completely separate section to the front desk is to provide exceptional personalized service and ensure all Guests' needs are met in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • As a VIP Co, we dealt with Player Development staff and Casino Guests with an assigned Host with arrangements to meet and exceed Guests' expectations.

  • Also, as a pool attendant I always got ice in the morning for the pool bar, and filling the water containers with fruits for the guests who came in earlier then the bartenders.
  • We always had to make sure our pool towels were always cleaned, stocked and ready for the next day as well.
