K9 HANDLER 2020-Present
Senior K9 Handler/Team Leader- Train and deploy an Explosives/Firearms Detection Canine and Narcotics Detection Canine. Lead and train a team of four Deputy Sheriff K9 Handlers. Receive and assess calls for service, determine necessary deployment for same. Debrief deployments to the command staff, up to and including Chief's of Police and the Sheriff of Los Angeles County.
- Assist in the execution of security protocols with US Secret Service and other federal entities.
- Monitor foreign and domestic terror threat reports on a weekly basis.
- Provide K9 support to gang detectives during the service of high risk search warrants.

MASTER FIELD TRAINING OFFICER 2019-2020
Implemented the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Field Training Program for Lost HIlls Sheriff's Station. Supervised new deputies and their Field Training Officers.
- Managed and supervised 25 patrol trainees and 25 Field Training Officers.
- Documented progress and deficiencies of patrol personnel.
- Coordinated, assigned and hosted various training events for sworn and civilian employees.
- Established new methods of maintaining and tracking training records.
- Acted as a proctor at Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Patrol School at least once per week.
- Diffused personal matters between my subordinates and peers and acted as liaison between deputies and command staff.
SENIOR FIELD TRANING OFFICER 2014-2019
Worked each day in patrol with a patrol trainee in his or her probationary period. Acted as a direct supervisor to each patrol trainee assigned to me.
- Assessed strengths and weaknesses of each of my subordinates.
- Determined a method of learning for each trainee and tailored my implementation to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Prepared daily documentation outlining the trainees progress, deficiencies and my plan to address any issues.
- Acted as a shift leader for major incidents; coordinating my peers and subordinates to work toward a common goal that saved lives.
NARCOTICS DETECTIVE 2013-2014
Investigated all aspects of the drug trade within and beyond the boundaries of Los Angeles County.
- Obtained and served search warrants related to ongoing cases.
- Investigated complaints brought by members of the community by conducting interviews and compiling evidence.
- Installed covert cameras and recording devices in compliance with legal statutes and department policies.

Patrol Deputy 2010-2013
Training/Probationary period at Palmdale Sheriff's Station. Remained at the the patrol assignment for nearly four years.
- Successful and early completion of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Field Training Program at 24 years old.
- Assigned to the Palmdale Violent Crime Suppression Team shortly after completion of patrol training.
- Investigated incidents and crimes, collected evidence, and recorded witness statements.
- Patrolled designated areas in patrol vehicle and on foot to identify security and safety issues.
- Organized criminal documents such as logs, records, reports, and agendas to streamline processing and improve traceability.
- Made more than 1,200 arrests for felony and misdemeanor crimes.
- Testified in court on criminal cases including murder, rape, domestic violence and many other crimes.
