Summary

I have nine years of fire experience. After high school in 2012, I spent one season at a volunteer fire department working on fuels and suppression. I left the fire service for a few years and came back. The majority of my experience was spent on a hotshot crew. I spent some time on Crew-6 in the Verde District as a lead, then returned to Blue Ridge Hotshots as a lead. Hand crews are where it's at for me. It's where I thrive and succeed. I love the crew cohesion, camaraderie, hard work, and team building. I have learned to fully understand the duties and expectations from a first-year fighter to a lead firefighter, and I am ready to learn and take on new challenges to further my career in wildland fire with the U.S. Forest Service.
