- Operated and maintained compressors, different types of pumps, motors, extrusion equipment, instrumentation, and chillers in low and high-pressure plants.
- Certified on all six jobs at the Seadrift site in low-pressure and high-pressure reaction jobs.
- Responsible for starting up and shutting down two high-pressure polyethylene reactors at any given moment.
- Responsible for running the reactors inside, with our computer systems, and watching trends, and responding to alarms throughout the day or night.
- Responsible for preparing equipment safely for maintenance to work on.
- Used procedures for starting up equipment and for performing critical tasks.
- Responsible for maintaining cooling tower samples and responding to sample results.
