• Skilled in the usage of Oxy rod design software and its basic application features.
• Expert understanding of ESP system configuration & ESP components.
• applied knowledge to research well files, Lowis (open wells) for well job plans & cost estimates.

• Identify/work Injection well exceptions: Zero Rates, Runaways, High Casing Pressures, No Comms, Etc.
• Execute WAG/setpoint changes In coordination with RMT . Resolve well and hardware alarms
• Communicate with Injection Field Analyst (IFA) and/ or Pump Off Controller/Injection Well Controller (POC/IWC) Techs on well issues as appropriate

• Send out daily production well exception report. Monitor well downtime.
• Verify and allocate production well tests monthly within Oxy standards.
• Used Lowis to document procedures and monitor daily reports. Input with Nexus rollout.
• Lead IST meetings for RCFA reports. Witness ESP teardowns.

• Operation, surveillance, troubleshooting oilfield surface equipment and performing root cause failure analysis
• Knowledge of automation and electrical equipment
• Capable of repairing equipment such as actuators, level alarms and of changing out fuses, relays, and etc.

• Equipment assembly/disassembly
• Troubleshoot and repair ESP equipment
• Set-up various motor controllers including variable speed drives
