Jacqueline Chavez

I am currently a Freshman in my second semester at The University of Oklahoma. I am double majoring in International Business and Sports Business while also minoring in Spanish. Being Hispanic, I felt the need to be more connected to my roots. Learning the proper form of Spanish is important to me in order to be able to communicate with Spanish Speaking Corporations in the future. I am a hardworking person and strive to always keep a positive attitude with a welcoming smile.

-After attending my first semester at The University of Oklahoma, I was given the honor of being on the Dean's Honor Roll, this is an award for students receiving higher GPA's. This is an honor I strive to continue to receive throughout my remanding semesters here at the University level.

-I am currently a member of the multicultural Business Program at the University of OKlahoma. In this club we are offered the opportunity to meet many inspirational people who tell us about their transitions into thee working field and how they got to the places they are now. We also are offered career building workshops where they take the time to sit down and build our resumes and help get us interview ready. We are held at high expectations to remain in business attire and have appropriate language while also keeping our grades up
