Would assist the dentist with filling, cleaning, and setting up the trays with the proper tools. Set up the rooms, talk to clients about any questions they might have, and answer to the best of my knowledge. Also, sterilize all the instruments at the end of the day.

I was a kennel worker for the first couple of months, but I was also a vet tech in training. I learned where every vaccine was administered on the dog, either in the hind leg or the left shoulder. I learned how to set up fecal tests and also read and set up heartworm testing. I learned how to set up an ear cytology. Overall, I could possibly learn.

I would take care of the boarders in the kennels, which are dogs and cats, but I would mostly help with surgeries and dentals. I would write down the dogs' vitals and administer vaccines. Fill out medications talk to clients help with reception

Per my college course, I obtained hours for school. The day's work varied and depended on the horse's visit. I assisted the veterinarian by providing him with proper medical supplies, as well as helping with X-rays.
