Coordinate health care services for school community of 400+ that includes students and faculty. Ensure compliance with NYS Health and Education regulations as well as District policy and procedures. Utilize critical thinking skills to prioritize nursing interventions based on acuity levels and individual needs. Administer medications and immunization vaccines according to established guidelines while closely monitoring for side effects or adverse reactions requiring intervention. Complete health screenings to identify developmental areas of risk, promptly notifying parents and/or physician to initiate appropriate interventions. Collaborate with local agencies to maintain and develop comprehensive plans for emergency preparedness and to ensure delivery of resources consistent with our population needs. Provide interpreting services (English/Spanish) in the role of Bilingual Interpreter for the District.
