- I work as a lift operator in steamboat springs
- My days usually begin with snow work, clearing the ramp of any snow and ice to put down fresh snow for our guests in the morning to easily access the lift, flipping down chairs, wiping them of excess snow, and making sure the bottom of the lift is presentable to guests before open
- We do our non moving stops in the morning which is to trigger all our faults to make sure they will properly trigger if needed when the lift is operating
- We then do our moving stops which is when we start the lift and pick designated zones to trigger false faults as to make sure the lift will actually stop in case of a real fault
- I make sure guests safely get on to the lift as well as children, we follow behind the chair and do pull backs as needed
- I stop and slow the lift to ensure guests safety and often help with guests getting off the ramp just as I help them getting on
- Day work includes maintaining the ramp and racking as needed, adding more snow or taking it off as needed, making sure all wooden parts of the deck are clear of snow and ice and always keeping an eye on guests to ensure they are safely loading, properly on the chair, and safely unloading
- My top priority is ensuring guests are safe and still having a good time
- I communicate with my other coworkers using a mountain phone, to communicate slows when needed, certain passangers that may need more assistance like our STARS partners, and ensuring the safety of everyone on the line

- I worked as a catering worker for Morgan state university
- My days started with gathering all the food, drink and untnesils for orders such as hot pans for food, any and all untensils for serving, clean linen for the tables, serving jugs for drinks and everything listed for the specific orders
- We then drove our catering bus or golf carts to the designated areas on campus to set up for the events
- Once events were set up we gathered up the next orders and continuously did that until all events were fulfilled
- We broke down and cleaned up events by order and how they were scheduled, making sure all food was properly disposed of, dirty linens put in the rightful bins and putting all dishes in the dish pit for washers
- Some of the events consisted of supervising and even serving guests, going around to tables to pick up anything guests would like to dispose of and keeping a clean area at all serving stations
- We restocked food as needed for events and helped guests with any food concerns

- I worked on Wild Blue Gondola at Steamboat ski resort as a ticket checker, the newest gondola who’s grand opening was only just this past December
- My duties involved various things such as ticket checking which is making sure all guests appropriately and correctly get through our sensors to enter the gondola to access the mountain
- I help fix any problems they may be having with faulty tickets and direct them to the appropriate people in the ticket office that can assist them if our resources are not enough
- I help manage the maze traffic so that lifties can swiftly and safely load guests onto the gondolas to try and keep service safe and smooth
- I do snow work which mostly consists of shoveling, ice picking, racking, and anything that would keep the access route to our gondola safe and presentable
- I set the maze in the morning, helped uncover sensors, and put out the appropriate stanchions to get ready for the day
- I opened first tracks for our guests and handled questions and concerns they had about the lift, the mountain, or anything I could provide helpful information on
- In the evening I helped with any necessary duties such as taking out trash, turning items into lost and found and dropping off resolution tickets to our ticket office

- I host and buss at the belton chalet
- When I host I greet the guests coming in to dine and take the party to their table where I give them menus and water and inform them a server will be with them shortly
- I help wipe down tables and reset them up for the next reservation to come in and dine
- I as well take phone calls and answer any and all questions guests may have, I make and cancel reservations for customers
- When I buss I stay attentive to the tables to make sure any dishes that need to be cleared off for the next course is gone
- I run the buss tubs down to to the kitchen as well as bringing clean ones up whenever I can
- When guests are finished I clear and wipe down the tables to get them set up for more guests

- I accommodated 4-5 tables at a time with some holding up to 12 guests a table, I accurately took food and drink orders to insure the guests meals were to their liking
- I delivered drinks and food to the table as well as making sure any and all previous dishes were cleared to make room for incoming dishes
- I did Cash handling as well as using a POS system
- Opening and closing duties consisted of light janitoral duties such as sweeping, mopping, wiping down tables, restocking, and anything else to properly set up for service the next shift
- After close Mezze became a night club until 2am and I would serve as a cocktail waitress as well, insuring all drink orders are accurate and correct before serving them to our guests
