Jaden Bender

Currently studying Biology at Oglethorpe University, I entered this school with the goal of excelling in my classes and making advances in not only my academic but personal life as well. I want to pursue a post-graduate program and am currently deciding between Medicine and Dentistry. So far I have worked a few jobs with each bestowing valuable life lessons that I carry with me into each academic year. For example, during my time as a Dishwasher at Viva, I was expected to perform a multitude of tasks including some outside of what I was already assigned, and with the added pressure of being a closer, I was expected to perform them all with precision and attention to detail. Some days the workload seemed impossible, but each and everyday I kept at it and found myself at the finish line. I apply this principle of consistency and determination to my life as well as my studies.
